Very caring , knowledgeable and professional. Best hopsital for care. Really makes you feel that your in not good but great hands
I had my babies at Mercy. The nurses were amazing, and I felt so cared for. The labor and delivery room's are big and spacious.
Somebody needs to be accountable for when packing up patients belongings. I was transfered from regular room to ICU. I was not there when this was done. I don't understand how all personal items were in one spot when this was done. Everything was packed up and accounted for EXCEPT my upper dentures. They were in a blue denture cup, sitting right there where everything else was. And you missed them? NOW, Mercy is telling me they are not responsible and they are not going to reimburse me for them. This is bull. We will see.
I go here to see a few specialists. It's pretty big so you can get lost easy. The workers at the information desks will set you on the right way, and the people who run the gift shop are very nice. My dad was here in the CVICU and while he's passed now, they took good care of him.
what i thought was a pulled muscle on my side of my stomach ended up as appendicitus. i am very thankful that they treated me as soon as they figured what i actually had. the only bad thing (in my opinion) was that they were out of the good flavored jello :) also, that event gave me the opportunity to quit smoking and as of now, i am almost 1.5 years tobacco free. big thanks to the surgeon, doctors, and nurses.
My daughter had her wisdom teeth out there yesterday. Dr. Chung was awesome. With all the delays and all it went well. They gave us food vouchers. And everyone there was so friendly and helpful.I was very impressed. They are so much friendlier than Excela Latrobe..We were treated with respect and utter kindness.I can not thank you all enough.Same day surgery and waiting areas are to be commended. They are all wonderful.
This is an amazing hospital. My grandmother was in the hospital and they took amazing care of her. Today she was sent to hospice, and they gave us a whole tray of snacks and drinks to take with us. I wish I could post a picture.
The era staff was great it was a busy saturday night and they did a great job we were there for quite a while but it was busy. The one surprising thing was that they had B.E.T. television on all the TVs in waiting room
I have a somewhat long history with UPMC Mercy. Two surgeries with hospital stays and numerous day surgeries to monitor a long term issue I have. I was in Tues June 5 for a routine scope of the upper digestive system. The whole staff was kind and attentive. We engaged in pleasant conversation while they worked and though I went in there somewhat nervous (I have never been comfortable with being under anesthesia). They put me at ease and showed interest in my level of comfort. They always are...the warm blanket are my favorite comfort. My husband was included in the loop as I had requested...Thank you all so much! You all are angels of Mercy!
Hats off the the 7th floor Step Down Neuro Unit who took excellent care of my mom last month. Everyone involved in her care from nurses, PCT's, housekeeping, dietary etc did and exceptional job!!!
In the multiple visits here, I haven't met a single person with a negative attitude. From doctors down, everyone is compassionate and caring. The cafeteria leaves allot to be desired though.
Very good experience here when my wife had our son. Great hospital.
Very good place. Helped with burns. Now aqua therapy very knowledgeable about my issues.
Nurses and staff were nothing but kind, tolerant and wasted no time into getting their patients back on their feet! I am extremely grateful! Good nurses and doctors are hard to come by anymore these days.
Very professional, educated, compassionate and attentive staff. Can easily see why this hospital is ranked one of the best hospitals in the United States. Also easy and very affordable parking for guests and family visiting. Can absolutely recommend!
This is a wonderful Catholic hospital even i am not Catholic. But i was a patient at UPMC Mercy Hospital, I had a peace come over me and there in my opinion was a Father that came to because Father Jehovah God sent him to me and i felt the healing Power of Jesus Christ come through the prayer of Faith, and the Father gave unto me the Catholic Blessing. And I think the doctors and nurses are wonderful people who work together for that vary healing through our Lord And Savior Jesus Christ praise God.

Thank you for caring for him. Keeping us updated of everything that was happening to him. -Love the Hernandez Family
Just left the hospital after being an impatient for 3 days. The ER staff, cardiac Cath lab staff, doctors and nurses were great. Very professional and courteous. A special shoutout to staff on 9E cardiac monitoring unit. Very friendly, helpful, and caring. They bent over backwards to ensure my care, many thanks.

I gave birth my baby boy last month, July 10th 2017- and I had the best experience ever when I thought I was gonna be afraid. But nurses are really kind and awesome! I can't thank enough for all what they did; and special I want to thank the Doctor Constantine Kralios for Being such a great doctor and very helpful with me. Thank you thank you!!! He and the nurse Erin, motivated me when I was in labor. Thank you very much!! Definitely great hospital!
I been there for 10 weeks great people and nurses
I gave birth here in May of 2017 and I wouldn't go anywhere else. The nurses were wonderful! I really wanted to go as long as possible without pain medicine and they were very encouraging. I was admitted at 3:00 am and my overnight nurse sat and talked with me for an hour to keep my mind off the pain. I delivered that day in the afternoon and before I left, both the overnight nurse and the one who helped me deliver came to meet the baby and give their congrats. They also sent a congrats/thank you card a few weeks later and personally signed with well wishers and even named my baby by name. One fun thing: if you call the front desk and tell them you gave birth, they will play Happy Birthday for your baby over the speakers for the hospital to celebrate with you. Try getting any of these things at Magee! Magee is still a good hospital, but if you are looking for a more one-on-one, personalized delivery but aren't quite ready to leap to a birthing center or home birth like I was, this is probably your best bet. I will be going here for baby #2.
Such a relief to know that my friend was taking care of at Mercy Hospital with compassion and respect, after two other doctors prior to this visit, sent her home with no regards. My friend was immediately admitted with the care she needed and deserved! Thank you to the ER staff of Mercy Hospital.

Compassionate employees. Usually receive very good service.
I was their for awhile and couldn't of been treated any better. Everyone was great !
The mailroom staff are very kind and helpful.
Went in for flu and irregular heart beat. They were great. Treated me with respect and made sure I was ok before I left. Food was not Ruth Chris, but it's better than I expected.
Typically I would not give this hospital that many stars. However, I did have a throat procedure there yesterday and all the nurses, anesthesiologist as well as my doctor was fantastic! They all deserve 5-stars for yesterday's well-deserved job. The doctor was Dr. Lawrence Crist, a cardiothoracic surgeon and countless anesthesiologists as well as nurses in the pre-OP, OR and post-OP
Not that I recommend having to stay in any hospital, the staff and nurses during our time spent here were amazing. Very kind and willing to help make our stay as comfortable as possible. Most importantly made out little guy, the patient, feel safe and at ease.
This Hospital Birthed my only child, my son in May 2016! The whole experience and care provided by the staff and hospital were beyond exceptional! Tara & Deb in Labor & Delivery ARE TRULY ROCK STARS! Hands down, I can't say thank you enough or express in words how much these two nurses mean to us, especially me! Thank you for your care, support, and excellent care!!
